JJ McCullagh

Co-founder of Omagh Orthodontics in 2001. He has been qualified as a specialist orthodontist for over 20 years and has many years’ experience working in both the hospital and private practice environments.
Dr JohnJoe McCullagh is the principal orthodontist at Omagh Orthodontics.
After graduating in Dentistry (BDS) from Queen’s University Belfast in 1990, JohnJoe enjoyed posts in general practice and hospital oral surgery departments. He became a Fellow of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FDSRCSEng). Along the way he gained an honors degree in Anatomy (BSc) and in 1995, he began focusing more exclusively on orthodontics.
In 1998, he was awarded a Master’s degree (MSc) in Orthodontics from the University of Sheffield and became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MOrthRCSEng). He is registered with the General Dental Council both as a Dentist and is on their specialist register as an Orthodontist
JohnJoe is passionate about what he does and continues to educate himself about all things related to orthodontics to ensure we stay up-to-date with new equipment, new techniques and other advancements in the field of orthodontics.
Neil McCusker

Neil is a Specialist Orthodontist who has working in Omagh Orthodontics since October 2011. For all of his patient he aims to provide the nicest smile, in the shortest time with the least amount of risks.
Neil has extensive experience with standard and cosmetic fixed appliances, he is a fully certified Invisalign provider and looks forward to working with you to achieve the smile you have always wanted.
Nuala McCullagh
Practice Manager and Dental Nurse Reg - 140219
Nuala is a qualified dental nurse, and has been working in the Practice since 2013. Nuala has over 18years Dental Nursing experience and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience to our Practice. She has recently taken on the role as the Practice Manager. Nuala’s main role within the Practice is to monitor and update the Practice policies and procedures, in line with RQIA requirements. She manages Practice accounts, personnel and the day to day running of the Practice.
Catherine Sweeney
Qualified Dental Nurse Reg - 115542
Qualified in Oral Health and Qualified in Dental Radiography
Catherine has been working in the Practice since its opening in 2001. Initially, Catherine worked as a dental nurse and now as senior dental nurse. Catherine gained her dental nursing qualification in 1997. Prior to commencing work at this Practice, she worked as a dental nurse in a general dental practice, therefore, she has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to our Practice. Since joining the Practice, she has gained further qualifications in Radiography and Oral Hygiene. Catherine's main role within the Practice is to ensure the surgeries run smoothly each day, ensuring there is enough stock and that all decontamination and sterilisation procedures are adhered to.
Stephanie Kerrigan

Stephanie has been working in the Practice since 2011. Since then she has gained the dental nursing qualification and radiography qualification. Her main role as a dental nurse is to offer chair side assistance to the orthodontist, ensure all dental instruments are decontaminated and sterilised in accordance with Practice policies and to make study models and retainers.
Siobhan McGinn

Siobhan has been working in the Practice since its opening in 2001. Since then she has gained the dental nursing qualification. Her main role as a dental nurse is to offer chair side assistance to the orthodontist, ensure all dental instruments are decontaminated and sterilised in accordance with Practice policies and to make study models and retainers.

Jackie has worked in the Practice since 2006. She is the Practice receptionist and is qualified as a dental nurse. Jackie's main roles include managing the appointment book, dealing with petty cash and referrals to and from the Practice.
Lauren Patterson

Lauren has just recently joined the practice. Her main role as a dental nurse is to offer chair side assistance to the orthodontist, ensure all dental instruments are decontaminated and sterilised in accordance with Practice policies and to make study models and retainers.
